The Boreal is an all-terrain touring bike designed to carry its rider in a comfortable upright position on trips and expeditions. The frame and fork are sturdy, and the components are reliable and low-maintenance. Capable of taking loads, the Boreal is the perfect partner for your most ambitious projects.
This bike share the same geometry and features as the Boreal-Pinion. Unlike the latter, which is equipped with an internal drivetrain, we build the Boreal with either a Shimano Deore 1×11 or a Shimano Cues 6000/8000 2×11 drivetrain. The 2×11 option offers a huge range of gear ratios, 669% versus 464% for the 1×11. Building the bike around the Rohloff Speedhub 14-speed hub is also available as an option.
For half-road/half-off-road touring, 29×2.0 (700×50 equivalent) tires will provide an optimum ride. For off-road use, 27.5″ tires of equivalent diameter, i.e. 27.5×2.6, are the appropriate choice. The two 32-spoke wheel options (for greater durability) are offered with the purchase of the complete bike. In both options, no lack of mud clearance while the frame and fork can accommodate 29×2.8 tires.

* Rohloff option comes with Speedhub 500/14 A12 DB PM black hub, 180mm rear disc and shifter. The hub is laced to either the 27.5in or 29in WTB rim.

We offer a warranty that covers the owner of a Panorama bike for life. First of all, should a manufacturing issue arise, this defect will typically surface quickly in the life of the bike. That's why we offer a full 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Then, if an accident, fall or impact causes damage to the frame, you'll be covered by our lifetime crash replacement policy. Simply return the frame to us, and we'll assess whether repair is possible or replacement is necessary, at the lowest possible cost.

Panorama Boreal
ALL TERRAIN TOURING GEOMETRY
The combined 68deg head angle and 470-485mm chainstays give the Boreal a large wheelbase that inspires confidence when the bike is loaded.
Steering remains precise for navigating difficult terrain at low/medium speed, thanks to the 62mm fork offset (mechanical trail of 79mm).
Main Features
REYNOLDS 525 TUBESET
Custom selection of Reynolds 525 steel tubes. Extremely robust and durable, perfectly suited to a heavily loaded bike.
2X11, 1X11 or ROHLOFF DRIVETRAIN
Choose the drivetrain to suit your style and plans: Shimano Deroe 1×11 or Shimano Cues 6000/8000 2×11, offering an huge speed ratio range (669% vs 464% for the 1×11). Rohloff Speedhub is also available for a bombproof maintenance-free setup.
WHEELSET/TIRES COMPATIBILITY
Ready for anything with maximized mud clearance (29×2.8).
Choose fast 29×2” (700×50 equivalent) tires for more rolling roads, or go for wide tires with an equivalent 27.5″ diameter, i.e. 27.5×2.6″. The latter is ideal for off-road adventures.
MULTIPLE MOUNTING POINTS
Triple mounts on the downtube, double mounts on the seat tube, top tube bag, cargo cage mounts on the fork, front and rear racks and mudguards.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING FOR DYNAMO
The fork is designed for use with a dynamo hub. There’s also a mount on the front of the fork for attaching a light.
TOURING-SPECIFIC CR-MO FORK
Fork designed with a 62mm offset, for a natural steering/riding feel when the bike is heavily front-loaded.
BELT DRIVE COMPATIBLE
The opening in the rear triangle allows the installation of a belt to adapt the bike to this type of silent and maintenance-free transmission.
SLIDING REAR DROPOUTS
Adjustable sliding dropouts which are ideal for adapting the ride feel of the bike, or for use in single speed configuration or with a Rohloff hub.
INTEGRATED KICKSTAND SUPPORT
A kickstand support according to the KSA-18 standard is integrated into the frame to facilitate loading and unloading of the bike.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING FOR DROPPER POST
Seat tube opening in order to accommodate internal cable routing for an adjustable seat post.
