Marie-Pierre Savard has been an adventure bike enthusiast for over 12 years. It all started with a first extreme solo trip in Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) and since then, her desire to get off the beaten path has guided her choice of small and big adventures!
In August 2020, she was the first cyclist to ride from Gatineau to Percé on the QuebecBikepackingTraverse and is also the co-founder of Les Fines Garnottes, a gravel and adventure bike collective for women, trans and non-binary people, based in Montreal.
Speaker, reporter, photographer and teacher in her spare time, Marie-Pierre has become a reference in the world of bikepacking in Quebec, thanks to her experience in adventure biking in more than a dozen countries, mostly solo. In spite of everything, she remains calm, down to earth and always willing to learn from others!
